Thrive Under Pressure

Empower Your Teen with Tools to Stay Calm, Confident, and Grounded — Even in Challenging Times

Thrive Under Pressure is a 4-week online group coaching course designed to help teens understand and manage stress and anxiety using practical, science-based tools. This program empowers teens to recognize their stress responses, build emotional resilience, and learn effective strategies to regulate their nervous system — all within a supportive, mentor-led community.

By the end of four weeks, teens will not only know how to manage stress more effectively but will also have a toolkit of grounding and mindset practices they can use for life.

This course is about more than stress relief — it’s about self-discovery, emotional awareness, and helping teens build confidence in their ability to handle life’s challenges with calm and clarity.

What to Expect

Over four weeks, teens will engage in interactive group sessions that combine learning, practice, and reflection. Each session introduces actionable tools and insights that help teens:

  • Recognize Their Stress Triggers: Learn to identify what causes stress and how it shows up physically, mentally, and emotionally.

  • Understand the Mind-Body Connection: Explore how thoughts, emotions, and body sensations are linked — and how to interrupt the stress cycle.

  • Develop Grounding & Emotional Regulation Techniques: Practice breathing, mindfulness, and movement exercises to calm the nervous system.

  • Build Self-Awareness & Inner Strength: Gain clarity about personal values, boundaries, and healthy coping mechanisms.

Through a Blend of:

  • Weekly Challenges: Teens are encouraged to apply each week’s theme through simple, practical exercises that build real-world stress management skills.

  • Self-Inquiry Prompts: Reflective questions guide teens to explore their emotions, triggers, and beliefs with compassion and curiosity.

  • Group Reflection: Shared discussions foster connection, trust, and emotional safety, helping teens realize they’re not alone.

  • Parent & Teen Connection Challenges: Optional weekly activities encourage open communication and partnership at home.

By the end of the course, teens will feel calmer, more in control, and better equipped to face academic, social, and emotional stressors.

Are you ready for change?

Parents, if you have any questions, you should book a free consultation with Lainie to make sure it's a match. Teens can fill out the application separately.

How Do I Get Started?

Talk to your teen.  Show them this web site.  Show them the program outline.  Ask them to consider their life now and if this is something they see as beneficial. Then ask,  if they wish to participate. The only way this program works is if the teen wants to be a part of the partnership process and is interested in taking action for themselves.  If the teen says yes, parents should book a consultation first. Then the teen should fill out the course application on their own.

If you have other questions, please contact us here.
